The TradeStation Open Platform represents a collection of technologies developed by TradeStation Technologies, Inc. that enable the design of technically compatible add-on products for TradeStation. Following is an overview of each of these technologies.

Since every trading method starts with an idea, we've built- in development tools that will allow for the exploration and identification of possible market patterns — which serve as the building blocks for the design of a trading strategy.
Using our proprietary EasyLanguage® technology, developers can describe almost any idea or pattern from scratch, in very much the same way a trader would describe it to another trader. This allows for the creation of custom indicators, ShowMe™ and PaintBar™ studies and alerts, which can be saved to create an ever-expanding analysis tool library. So, from a developer's perspective, the product design possibilities are virtually limitless.

TradeStation Open Platform is further enhanced by the ActivityBar® and ProbabilityMap® technologies which have inspired the development of indicators that provide unique perspectives of market activity.

In addition to the flexibility of being able to design custom indicators and alert criteria, TradeStation Open Platform allows for the effortless measuring, marking and highlighting of price charts with an arsenal of intelligent drawing tools. Developers can manipulate the properties of the intelligent drawing tools via EasyLanguage®. We've also provided the ability to plot space, drawing tools, and indicators to the right of our charts.
