ActivityBar™ Studies are designed to show specific historical trading activity inside a bar. Examples of information that can be displayed are: the ratio of buyers vs. sellers at each point on the bar, and where the greatest trading volume occurred.
ActivityBar™ Studies show trading patterns that occur within a range of bars on a chart. The plots illustrate intrabar (inside the bar) market activity based on user-defined rules, and may be made up of one or more of the following plot elements:
Cells (may include color cycling)
Labels (may include color cycling and label cycling)
Custom "activity zone" delineating an area of interest on the ActivityBar™
Open and close markers to accentuate the open and close tick marks on the underlying bar that may get obscured by the other plot elements
The following functionality can be incorporated when creating ActivityBar™ Studies:
ALERTS:
ActivityBars™ can include user-defined rules based on intrabar and/or interbar analysis to issue real-time desktop alerts and pager alerts.
